+++Shop Announcement +++++

In order to keep costs at a minimum, I am moving my shop to Etsy.

The increasing cost of running (and promoting) a webshop has led to me to the conclusion that unless I constantly put up the prices of my beads, something has to change! I currently have a small selection of beads for sale on Etsy, and it is my intention to move all my current stock and new beads sets there over the coming months.

Etsy is a  fantastic place filled with many wonderful hand-made items. Payment is still made securely through Paypal, and contacting me is quicker and easier than all the Mr Site 'lost e:mails' that may or may not reach me ;)

The Bearhouse was always a place filled with crafty things. A place where glitter twinkled instead of dust, and where imagined ideas took shape. Then one day a new substance arrived; glass, with it's magical qualities of transparency, sparkle and colour. Flames burned, and the glass was transformed into beads, to be worn and cherished.

Every bead is created as an individual, although they may go on to form a co-ordinated set. Because they are each made by hand, there will be natural variations in sizes and shapes; they truly are one-off pieces that will not be made again! However, if you see something you really like and it has already been sold; talk to me; I may be able to make something similar.

Beads from the Bearhouse can be used to make jewellery which, with care, can last a lifetime. They are annealed in a kiln to ensure that any stress is removed; but please remember, glass is still fragile, and needs to be treated with love.
